Annual Reporting Requirements

All levels of the institution document IE through the annual reporting process. The annual report for both Administrative/Operational goals and Student Learning Outcomes at the program-level is housed within the software platform Campus Labs Planning (see Annual Reporting Help section).  While the strategies to achieve goals and/or outcomes can span across multiple years, annual targets should be established so that annual reporting of progress and evidence of seeking improvement can be recorded.  All goals and/or outcomes are aligned to the strategic plan priority areas and goals using the "Related" function within the software.  IERP personnel maintain the relatedness of unit goals to the strategic plan for the ease of reporting.

The nomenclature associated with the components of the annual report differ slightly between the documentation for administrative/operational goals and student learning outcomes.

The annual reporting for other cycles within the IE Model are collected through various methods, depending on the cycle.  Details for each are below.

Components of Annual Reporting of Institutional Student Learning Outcomes (ISLOs)

Please see the details within the site for Student Learning Outcomes.  Annual reports for individual Assessment of the ISLOs in the Major (AIM) Teams as well as for the activity for the year are created by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Planning (IERP) and posted on this site.  The reports include all activity taking place through the cycle.

Components of Annual Reporting of Personnel Performance Goals

The processes that comprise the Personnel Evaluation, both non-faculty and faculty can be found on the Personnel Performance Goals Overview page.   The processes are monitored and maintained outside of IERP.

Components of Annual Reporting of Budget

Each unit with an operating budget must submit a proposed budget request form itemizing the expected expenses for each budget account within the unit.  The proposed budget is due in early spring.  Each submittor then attends a scheduled budget hearing in which the justification for expenses is explained through the alignment of the expected expense with the attainment of the unit's goals that align with the Strategic Plan.  A form that details the alignment of the budget requests to the Strategic Plan is submitted at the budget hearing for documentation.  Communication about the submission dates and budget hearing schedule comes directly from the Business & Finance Division.
