Roles and Responsibilities of AIM Team Members
Below are the expectations for people who join AIM teams. The time commitment is minimal. There are a couple of meetings in the fall semester, and a couple of meetings in the spring semester. If you are not on a review team, you will also be scoring student evidence at the beginning of the spring semester.
Teams that are scoring student evidence or piloting an ISLO
- Attendance and active participation at meetings
- Input and advice for continuous improvement of the AIM process
- Participation in training sessions
- Willingness to score student evidence
- Participation in interpreting results
- Ambassadors for future AIM team members
- Solicitation of assignments appropriate for the AIM process
Teams that are reviewing ISLOs
- Attendance and active participation at meetings
- Input and advice for continuous improvement of the AIM process
- Input and advice related to the ISLO definition, the appropriateness of the rubrics in use, and the appropriateness of the assignments being used
- Ambassadors for future AIM team members
- Solicitation of assignments appropriate for the AIM process
