Roles and Responsibilities of AIM Team Members

 

Below are the expectations for people who join AIM teams. The time commitment is minimal. There are a couple of meetings in the fall semester, and a couple of meetings in the spring semester. If you are not on a review team, you will also be scoring student evidence at the beginning of the spring semester. 

 

 

Teams that are scoring student evidence or piloting an ISLO

 

  • Attendance and active participation at meetings
  • Input and advice for continuous improvement of the AIM process
  • Participation in training sessions
  • Willingness to score student evidence
  • Participation in interpreting results
  • Ambassadors for future AIM team members
  • Solicitation of assignments appropriate for the AIM process

 

Teams that are reviewing ISLOs

 

  • Attendance and active participation at meetings
  • Input and advice for continuous improvement of the AIM process
  • Input and advice related to the ISLO definition, the appropriateness of the rubrics in use, and the appropriateness of the assignments being used
  • Ambassadors for future AIM team members
  • Solicitation of assignments appropriate for the AIM process
